WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE

What a mighty God we serve

What a mighty God we serve

Angels bow before Him

Heaven and earth adore Him

What a mighty God we serve

What a loving God . . .

What a faithful God . . .

PRAISE HIM

Praise Him, praise Him, praise Him, praise Him
Jesus, blessed savior!  He's worthy to be praised.

From the rising of the sun until the going down of the same
He's worthy.  Jesus is worthy.  He's worthy to be praised

Glory, glory, in all things give Him glory
Jesus, blessed savior!  He's worthy to be praised.

For God is the rock of my salvation
A strong deliverer!  In Him will I always trust.

 HE'S SWEET I KNOW

He's sweet I know.  He's sweet I know
Dark clouds may rise and strong winds may blow
But, I can tell the world wherever I may go
That I have found a Savior and He's sweet I know

I can't forget when I was sad
Head hanging down and my soul feeling bad
But, all I could say was "Lord, take my heart"
You know, Jesus heard me praying and He gave me a song

Sometimes I'm tried by Satan's snares
And my burdens seem so hard to bear
And I'm talked about, Lord in whatever I do
But, I know a Savior and He'll take me on through

 MY WORSHIP

You Lord, You are worthy
And no one can worship You for me
For all the things You've done for me
And no one can worship You for me

Here's my worship, all of my worship
Receive my worship, all of my worship
Here's my worship, all of my worship
Receive my worship, all of my worship

As long as I am breathing
I will always worship You

And I will not be silent I will always worship You

 FALLING IN LOVE WITH JESUS

I.

Falling in love with Jesus,

falling in love with Jesus
Falling in love with Jesus

Was the best thing I've ever done

II.
In His arms, I feel protected
In His arms, never disconnected
In His arms, I feel protected
There's no place I'd rather be

WORTH

You thought I was worth saving so You came and changed my life
You thought I was worth keeping so You cleaned me up inside
You thought I was to die for so You sacrificed your life
So I could be free, so I could be whole
So I could tell everyone I know

Halle-lujah
Glory to the God who changed my life
I will praise You, forever
I will worship You, forever
I will give You glory, forever
Because I am free, because I am whole
And I will tell everyone I know

Standing with our Brothers & Sisters of Haiti

As a church of Jesus Christ that believes in the dignity of all individuals and being made in the image of God we  unequivocally condemn the treatment of Haitian refugees on the Texas border. We in addition have various members of our congregation who are from Haiti and have family in Haiti. We stand in solidarity with these family members. With the recent political upheaval, assignation of the president and recurring earthquakes now is the time for our Government to live up to our stated values. We are horrified at the way that public health measures enacted to protect human lives would be abused and distorted to unabashedly crush the hopes of thousands of Haitian families fighting for access to basic human rights, putting them directly in harm’s way. This is  an example of Institutional racism against black and brown people which is embedded in  our immigration policy.

The world is now witnessing the largest deportation operation in U.S. history on the southern border as the U.S. sends hundreds of families seeking asylum back to Haiti each day in direct violation of the right to claim asylum. This unprecedented expulsion of Haitian migrants is being carried out using Title 42, a measure which allows U.S. Border Patrol to prohibit entry into the U.S. of people who pose a potential public health risk, regardless of immigration status. This measure allows for the expulsion of asylum seekers without the right to due process. The Biden administration has previously made clear that the Haitian government is not positioned to receive deportees given the ongoing security situation in the country, the absence of an elected government and the recent earthquake which strained Haiti’s already limited resources. We firmly believe that public health concerns can be mitigated through the provision of basic humanitarian services and relocation to safe spaces, which would allow for COVID-19 prevention measures including testing and social distancing.

We raise our voices in partnership with hundreds of like minded Christians, churches, human rights organizations who have called for an immediate halt to expulsions without due process. Every human being should be treated with dignity and respect and we stand with our Haitian brothers and sisters at the border. We as a church have signed on to a national letter, praying not only for the people of Haiti both on the Island and at the border, but also our family members in the church. We know your pain and suffering. We will be contributing  financially to assist in efforts to migrate this challenge. We ask that Our Church family reach out to your church [ call the office] if you have specific ways we as a church can assist you and in this effort for justice.

After months, Greater Framingham Community Church has resumed in-person worship services.  Please note the following:

  1. Our order of service will remain as it has been for the past 15 months.
  2. Online worship will continue as it has been during COVID.
  3. Seating for everyone will be on the main floor at your own discretion.
  4. We will have seating for those who want to sit by families or sit in their own socially distance bubble.  We will also have seating for those who wish to sit socially distant from others, and open seating.
  5. As you arrive, ushers will assist you in your seating preference.
  6. We ask that you wear a mask when you come to church.  You are permitted to remove your mask if you desire when worshiping, but be mindful of others around you.  If you have NOT been vaccinated or have not had a two-week period since the second vaccine shot that you not remove your mask at all.
  7. If you have NOT been vaccinated, we ask that you keep your mask on during the entirety of the service as well as when you enter and exit the building.
  8. As you enter the Narthex, you will have an opportunity to pick up the following items before coming into the sanctuary.  Worship bulletin, extra mask, hand wipes, sanitizer and on First Sundays Communion elements.
  9. Also in the Narthex, there will be an offering stand for you to deposit your offering before entering or exiting the service.
  10. Restrooms are available.  We ask that you limit the number of persons in the space at a time.
  11. The exiting of the sanctuary after service will be coordinated by the ushers.  They will direct individuals row by row to avoid crowding during the exit process.  We ask that you exit the sanctuary immediately and not linger in the building.
  12. On Sunday mornings, the church will be open for in-person Adult Christian Education classes.  Classes are taught by Rev. Lackard and Minister Thompson, which will meet in the Fellowship Hall.  A mask must be worn and social distance practices are required.  On-line Sunday classes taught by Kathy Oliver Jones will continue to meet via Zoom.

We pray that the worship experience is enriching and that you will feel safe as we worship together U
