“Year of Faith, Courage & Living in God's Grace”

   Sermon Title: “Don’t Just Visit—Dwell”

Sermon Text: Psalm 91:1; John 15:5

FIRESIDE CHAT” QUESTIONS

1. Psalm 91 begins with a condition before it gives the promises. Why do you think God emphasizes dwelling in His presence before revealing His protection?

2. The dialysis illustration taught us that cleansing happens during the “dwell.” What areas of your life might God still be working to cleanse because He’s asking you to remain in His presence longer?

3. Which of the three biblical examples challenged you the most—Moses, Daniel, or Mary—and what specific lesson will you take from that person’s life?

4. The sermon says, “The secret place is not merely a location; it is a relationship.” How does that change the way you think about spending time with God?

5. What are some things that cause believers to disconnect from God’s presence too soon, and how can we become more intentional about dwelling with Him?

6. The sermon reminds us that we reflect whatever we dwell in. If someone observed your life this past week, what would they say you’ve been dwelling in the most?

7. What is one practical step you will take this week to move from simply visiting God’s presence to making it your permanent dwelling place?
