Karen Blake has been a member of Greater Framingham Community Church for
over 18 years. She was ordained as a Deacon in October 2010, and has served as
Co-Chair of the New Members Fellowship Ministry for three years. Karen has
presented at the GFCC Women’s Retreat in 2015, on the topic The Power of
Purpose: Finding & Fulfilling God’s Plan for Life, and at Good Friday Services on
Affection and Victory. After witnessing the open hearts and receptiveness to her
messages, Karen answered God’s call to continue in ministry as a licensed
minister. She then embarked on a spiritual journey to fulfill her divine purpose to
offer guidance, support, and solace to those seeking spiritual fulfillment. Karen
ministers under a strong anointing, driven by a desire to bring healing and
deliverance to those in need, so they may claim victory through God’s
transformative love. She has a strong desire to serve others, and to preach the
Word of God. She firmly believes that through the power of God’s love and grace,
individuals can experience freedom, wholeness, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Karen was born in St. Ann, Jamaica, West Indies and migrated to the United States
in August, 1987. She is a devoted wife to Vergel Blake, mother of two children,
Melissa and Christina, and proud grandmother to Daniel Blake Rivas. In her own
words, “Through Christ, I am a vessel of His love, spreading healing and
deliverance to all who seek his grace.” That is exactly what Karen Blake lives out
daily and is teaching and sharing everywhere she goes. Her warm and empathetic
nature has enabled her to create inclusive and memorable experiences for people
from all walks of life.

weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that
Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
