Marshalee Ellis-Kehlhem has been a member of the Greater Framingham Community Church (GFCC) for over 22 years. There she is active in the Music Ministry where she serves as the Director of the Children’s Choir, and sings in the Young Adult, Women’s, and church Praise Teams. She is also a member of the Thursday morning Intercessory Prayer Ministry, participates in the Women’s Christian Fellowship, and is greatly interested in mentoring rising professionals.
Marshalee was born in Saint Cathrine, Jamaica, West Indies and migrated to the United States in September 1987. When she arrived in New York, she was connected to Trinity Faith Pentecostal Church in the Bronx, New York which is the sister church in Jamaica WI in which she was baptized and became a born again child of God at 12 years old. At Trinity, she served in the praise teams and choirs, and often traveled with her Pastor to minister in music at different events including visits to other churches, nursing homes, homeless shelters, street evangelistic services, and concerts. She has since pursued music professionally and has released several singles and albums to radio in the gospel music industry, ministering in music across the USA to share the love story of the gospel of Jesus Christ with others.
Marshalee is currently enrolled in a 2-year Fivefold Ministry Training Program at the Christian Vocational Training School (CVTS) with the Global Change Network U.S.A. (GCN, U.S.A.) in Colorado. Marshalee’s academic achievements include: a Masters degree in City and Regional Planning from the Ohio State University, Austin E. Knowlton School of Architecture in Columbus, Ohio; a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Binghamton University in New York (S.U.N.Y.); and professional continuing education certificates from Suffolk University in Boston MA, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge MA. She is the loving wife of Douglas Kehlhem to whom she has been happily married for more than 25 years and they are blessed with a son, Marshall.
