Rev. Courtney O. Lackard serves as the Minister of Youth at the Greater Framingham Community Church (GFCC) for over six years, and has served as Youth Minister for over twenty years. Rev. Lackard previously served as an Associate Minister at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Malden, where he received his license to proclaim the gospel on May 15, 1995. There, he served as the Youth Minister and a Sunday School Teacher.

Rev. Lackard was born in Jamaica, West Indies and migrated to the United States in February 1979. When he arrived in New York, he adjoined himself to the Goodwill Baptist Church in the Bronx, New York where he was ordained as a deacon. There, he served as the president of Goodwill’s Baptist Training Union and was instrumental in directing and instructing a bible study course, “Journey of a Lifetime,” a detailed overview of the bible book by book. He has taught Christian workshops at the state level for the Empire State Baptist Convention of New York.
Rev. Lackard obtained a Master’s degree in Urban Ministries at the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2008. His academic achievements include: a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University (P.I.N.Y.) and an Associate in Science degree in Engineering Science from the Bronx Community College.
He is the proud husband of Dr. Marguerite Simpson-Lackard; he is happily married for more than 20 years and is the blessed father of two children, Ashley and David.
