WE HAVE COME INTO THIS HOUSE
1. We have come into this house, gathered in His name to worship Him.
We have come into this house, gathered in His name to worship Him.
We have come into this house, gathered in His name to worship Christ our Lord.
Worship Him, Jesus Christ Our Lord.
2. So forget about yourself, concentrate on Him and worship Him .
So forget about yourself, concentrate on Him and worship Christ .
So forget about yourself, concentrate on Him and worship Christ our Lord.
Worship Him, Christ Our Lord.
3. Let us lift up holy hands, magnify His name and worship Him.

LORD PREPARE ME
Lord prepare me to be a sanctuary
Pure and holy, tried and true
With thanksgiving I'll be a living
Sanctuary for You
PEACE
You are my peace,
You are my peace
You are my peace,
And I worship thee
(Repeat)
You have delivered my soul
When the battle was against me
And Your promises You kept
That Your Word will set me free
(If I just) keep my mind on thee
You'll keep me in perfect peace
You have delivered my soul
(From the snare of the enemy)
In the midst of my storm
You held and protected me
(If I just) keep my mind on thee
You'll keep me in perfect peace
You have delivered my soul
(From the snare of the enemy)
In the midst of my storm
You held and protected me
(If I just) keep my mind on thee
You'll keep me in perfect peace
Vamp: Peace, My Peace
Peace, You're My Peace
GOD IS GOOD
May your struggles keep you near the cross
And may your troubles show that you need God
And may your battles end the way they should
And may your bad days prove that God is good
And may your whole life prove that God is good
See, may your struggles keep you near the cross
And may your troubles show that you need God
And may your battles end the way they should
And may your bad days prove that God is good
See, may your whole life prove that God is good
May your struggles keep you near the cross
And may your troubles show that you need God
And may your battles end the way they should
And may your bad days prove that God is good
See, let your whole life prove that God is good
May your bad days prove that God is good
May your whole life prove that God is good
HE IS HERE
He is here, praise His name.
He is here, worship Him.

HOLY COMMUNION
When we approach God's Holy Table, we do so with respect and reverence for who God is. It is not done with noise, commotion, moving around, or confusion. Please respect God by respecting His Holy Table.
CONFESSION OF FAITH
The church acknowledges as its head, God, the Creator of all heaven and earth, Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Holy Spirit the Comforter. It acknowledges as brothers and sisters in Christ, all who share in this confession. It believes that all of those who are committed to building of God's Kingdom and strive to keep His commandments are invited to partake of the Lord's Supper and that all such, with their families, are invited to the Ordinance of Baptism.
AFFIRMATION OF FAITH: “APOSTLES” CREED
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried. The third day he arose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty: from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Church (universal), the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sin, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.
THE LORD’S SUPPER
I Corinthians 11: 23 – 34
Pastor: For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you. That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
People: And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, Take eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Pastor: After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the New Testament in my blood: this do ye, as often as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
People: For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till he comes.
Pastor: Wherefore, whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
People: But let a person examine themselves, and so let them eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
Pastor: For they that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to themselves, not discerning the Lord’s body.
People: For this cause, many are weak in [Faith] and sick among you, and many sleep.
Pastor: For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
People: But when we judge, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
Pastor: Wherefore, my friends, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
All: And if a person hungers, let them eat at home; that they come not together to this table, disregarding its purpose, and unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come

God is doing a new thing and taking us to a new level. He calls us to seek Him and will do miracles in our midst. This year we are praying for miracles in our lives, the lives of our families, and our Church family. As we pray and seek His face, we are going to give God Majestic Praise along the way. The songwriters said: I seek a miracle every day and I just want to Praise Him.
The Lackard family thanks you for your cards, calls, and check-ins. The extended Cunningham family felt your comfort. My aunt’s legacy will always be “Whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God.”

Ida Wells-Barnett (1862-1931)
Ida Wells-Barnett crusaded aggressively for civil rights her entire life and was unafraid to exercise those rights when custom ran contrary to the law. Involved in many civil rights causes, she played leadership roles in the women’s suffrage movement and in the founding of the NAACP. Ida Wells-Barnett became the era’s most outspoken crusader for ending the practice of lynching African-Americans. www.hmd.org
Venus & Serena Williams
They are two of the greatest female tennis players ever! Venus and Serena were raised in Compton, Ca. They both learned tennis from their dad Richard, who coached them with help from their mom Oracene. Venus is older than Serena by a year and she was the first to make her mark. Venus won the Wimbledon championship, the most hallowed of all tennis tournaments, five times between 2000 and 2008. Serena has become arguably the greatest female tennis player ever, winning 23 Grand Slam titles, breaking Steffi Graf’s record of 22. During their rise to the top of women’s tennis, Venus and Serena have both endured racial animosity but have risen above the fray and become staunch advocates for equality for minorities and for women. https://jammin1057.com

Sermon Title: "Strong & Courageous”
Scripture: Joshua 1:9
“Fireside Chat” Questions
- What does it mean to be strong & Courageous in what is coming up against you right now?
- How do you live with the tension of What God has promised you and the struggles & obstacles that come your way as you seek to get what God promised you?
- What do Moses, Joshua and Martin Luther King Jr have in common?
- How does the fight for civil rights in our country mirror the Israelites battle to claim the Promised Land?
- What does our parents' propensity teach us about our struggle today?
- In the maze that confronts your life can you see God's pending
possibilities for your life?
- What does God’s providential predictability do for your faith?
- What resources do you have at your disposal to "maintain" stay in the fight?
Listening to God’s Words and messages for you. Make a few personal notes as you listen. Revisit your notes during quiet time spent with the Lord over the coming week. Allow God to crystallize His truths in your life.
