LOVE THEORY
Verse:
How can it be that you love the most unlovable part of me, of me?
How could you see your life was the only gift I'll ever need to be free?
It's amazing with you, I win even if I lose
Everything's working for my good for always
Chorus:
He saved the day
He will come through
He won't doubt, that's not what super-heroes do (Hallelujah)
No greater love makes my heart beat
All I wanna do is make you proud of me (that's why)
I don't wanna love nobody but you
I don't wanna love nobody but you
I don't wanna love nobody, love nobody but you (let's go)
Verse:
How can it be, everyone of my secrets that you keep
You cover me
You cover me
A mystery, your patience with me, God, will never leave
Don't ever leave
Help me to see like you
No matter what I go through
Everything's working for my good for always
Chorus:
He saved the day
He will come through
He won't doubt, that's not what super-heroes do
No greater love makes my heart beat
All I wanna do is make you proud of me
I don't wanna love nobody but you
I don't wanna love nobody but you
I don't wanna love nobody, love nobody but you
I don't wanna love nobody but you
I don't wanna love nobody but you
I don't wanna love nobody, love nobody but you
Refrain:
Loving you will be
will be the death of me
That's how it's supposed to be
More of you, less of me
I don't wanna love nobody but you
I don't wanna love nobody but you
I don't wanna love nobody, love nobody but you (Repeat)
Chorus:
He saved the day
He will come through
He won't doubt, that's not what super-heroes do
No greater love makes my heart beat
All I wanna do is make you proud of me
He saved the day
He will come through
He won't doubt, that's not what super-heroes do
No greater love makes my heart beat
All I wanna do is make you proud of me
I don't wanna love nobody but you
I don't wanna love nobody but you
I don't wanna love nobody, love nobody but you (Repeat)
JIREY
[Lead] I'll never be more loved than I am right now
Wasn't holding You up
So there's nothing I can do to let You down
It doesn't take a trophy to make You proud
I'll never be more loved than I am right now, oh
[Lead 2] Going through a storm but I won't go down
I hear Your voice
Carried in the rhythm of the wind to call me out
You would cross an ocean so I wouldn't drown
You've never been closer than You are right now
Chorus:
[All] You are Jireh, You are enough
Jireh, You are enough
And I will be content in every circumstance
You are Jireh, You are enough
Forever enough
Always enough
More than enough
Forever enough
Always enough
More than enough
Verse:
[All] I don't wanna forget how I feel right now
On the mountaintop
I can see so clear what it's all about
So stay by my side when the sun goes down
Don't wanna forget how I feel right now (Jireh)
Chorus:
[All] Jireh, You are enough
Jireh, You are enough (so I will be)
I will be content in every circumstance
Jireh, You are enough (He is always enough)
He's forever enough
Always enough
Always more than enough
Forever enough
Always enough (He's everything, He's always)
More than enough (yeah)
[Lead 2] I'm already loved
I'm already chosen
I know who I am
I know what You've spoken
I'm already loved
More than I could imagine
And that is enough, oh-oh
[All] I'm already loved (I'm already loved)
I'm already chosen (I'm already chosen)
I know who I am (I know who I am)
I know what You've spoken (I know what You've spoken)
I'm already loved (I'm already loved)
More than I could imagine (more than I could imagine)
That is enough (that is enough)
It's enough for me, oh
I'm already loved (I'm already loved)
I'm already chosen (I'm already chosen)
I know who I am (I know who I am)
I know what You've spoken (I know what You've spoken)
I'm already loved (I'm already loved)
More than I could imagine (more than I could even fathom)
And that is enough, that is enough
And that is enough, that is enough
And that is enough, that is enough
SPEAK TO MY HEART
(Ooh...)
keep on talkin' to me, keep on talkin' to me (talk to me)
Keep on talkin' to me, keep on talkin' to me (talkin' to me)
Keep on talkin' to me, keep on talkin' to me (talk to me)
Keep on talkin' to me
Speak to my heart, Holy Spirit
Give me the words that will bring new life
Words on the wings of a morning, the dark night will fade away
(If You) speak to my heart now
Speak to my heart (Holy Spirit)
Message of love (love to encourage me)
Lifting my heart (from the snare) how You love me and care for me
Speak to my heart now
Speak to my heart, Holy Spirit
Give me the words that will bring new life
Words on the wings of a morning, my dark nights will fade away
Speak to my heart
Speak to my heart, Holy Spirit
Message of love to encourage me
Lifting my heart from the snare, how You love me and care for me
Speak to my heart
Speak to my heart (that's what I want You to do)
Speak to my heart ('cause I'm waiting to hear from You)
Speak to my heart (that's what I want You to do)
Speak to my heart
[Lead] Speak to my heart, Lord, give me Your holy word
If I can't hear from You, then I'll know what to do
I won't go on, never go on my own
Just let your spirit guide and let Your word abide, say
[All] Speak to my heart, Lord, give me Your holy word
If I can't hear from you, then I'll know what to do
I won't go on, Lord, I'll never go on my own
Just let Your spirit guide and let Your word abide (repeat)
Talk to me, talk to me, talk to me, talk to me, yeah, yeah
Talk to me, talk to me, talk to me, talk
Keep on talkin' to me, keep on talkin' to me, yeah, yeah
Keep on talkin' to me, talk to me, talk
GOD FAVORED ME
[All] Love is patient, caring. Love is Kind. Love is felt most when it's genuine,
But, I've had my share of love abuse,
manipulated and its strength misused
and I can't help, but give you glory
When I think about my story
And I know, you favored me, because
My enemies did try, but couldn't triumph over me
Yes they did try, but couldn't triumph over me
Love is patient, caring. Love is Kind. Love is felt most when it's genuine,
But, I've had my share of love abuse,
manipulated and its strength misused
and I can't help, but give you glory
When I think about my story
And I know, you favored me, because
My enemies did try, but couldn't triumph over me
Yes they did try, but couldn't triumph over me
Refrain:
They whispered, conspired, they told their lies (God favors me)
My character, my integrity, my faith in God (He favors me)
Will not fall, will not bend, won't compromise (God favors me)
I speak life and prosperity,
and I speak health (God Favors Me)
Say Yes (Yes), Yes (Yes), Yes (Yes), God Favors Me (God Favors Me)
Say Yes (Yes), Yes (Yes), Yes (Yes), God Favors Me (God Favors Me)
Verse:
[Lead 1] I don't know what you're going through,
but I want you to know today you've got favor (God Favors Me)
In your trail, in your test, in your hard times, don't worry (God Favors Me)
Attack your character, attack your integrity don't worry (God Favors Me)
Tell your neighbor, encourage the person next to you
Tell em I got it, I got it...and I can Say Yes
[All] (Yes), Yes (Yes), Yes (Yes), God Favors Me (God Favors Me)
Say Yes (Yes), Yes (Yes), Yes (Yes), God Favors Me (God Favors Me)
Verse:
[Lead 2] Wondering why I did not die,
I'll be happy to tell you why (God Favors me)
No longer do I cry, when fake friends say goodbye (God Favors me)
Some days the well was dry, but I have the same reply (God Favors Me)
Even want to bring me down inside,
but God said again I rise...Say Yes
(Yes), Yes (Yes), Yes (Yes), God Favors Me (God Favors Me)
Say Yes (Yes), Yes (Yes), Yes (Yes), God Favors Me (God Favors Me)
MOVING FORWARD
Verse:
[Lead] What a moment, You have brought me to?
Such a freedom, I have found in you
You're the healer, who makes all things new, yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm not going back, I'm moving ahead
Here to declare, to you, my past is over in you
All things are made new, surrendered my life to Christ
[All] I'm moving, moving forward (oh)
[Lead] You have risen, with all power in your hands
You have given me, a second chance
Hallelujah, hallelujah, (yeah, yeah, yeah)
[All] yeah, yeah, yeah (oh)
[Lead] I'm not going back, I'm moving ahead
Here to declare to you, my past is over in you
All things are made new, surrendered my life to Christ
[All] I'm moving...
[Lead] Not going back, moving ahead
Here to declare to you, my past is over in you
All things are made new, surrendered my life to Christ
[All] I'm moving, moving forward
(Said I'm moving forward, oh yeah)
Chorus:
[All] you make all things new
Yes, you make all things new, and I will follow you forward
You make all things new
You make all things new, and I will follow you forward
[All] you make all things new
Yes, you make all things new, and I will follow you forward
You make all things new
You make all things new, and I will follow you forward
I will follow you forward!
SOLID ROCK
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus' name.
When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
Chorus:
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand. (x3)
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground...
Is sinking sand (x4)

UNCF National Faith Education Initiative
February 26, 2023, is UNCF Sunday. Without churches, UNCF likely wouldn’t exist. Collectively, they planted the seed that grew the tree from which we sprang.
The faith community has played a critical role in the founding of many of our HBCUs and thus UNCF and over the decades, has provided vital funds that have helped to sustain our schools.
Our congregation can be the Answer to a Student’s Prayers this UNCF Sunday!
Here are a few ways you can help make a difference:
GFCC will be giving UNCF a gift of $500 if you would like to give
please designate your gift by writing on the memo line: UNCF
Initiative.
Thank you for your support.
Volunteers Needed-ESL
Hospitality Commons, which offer English as a Second Language classes at GFCC on Mondays and Wednesdays, at 6:00 pm is currently putting together their volunteer staff of ESL teachers for next semester and is looking for GFCC members who would be interested to teach in their program.
No ESL experience is necessary, nor would you need to know a
second language. You would just need to be willing and have a certain comfort level serving as a teacher.
It would be great to have GFCC represented on their staff!
For more information, please call the Central office at 508-626-2118.
Bessie Coleman (1892-1926)
Coleman was the first Black woman to fly an airplane. When American flying schools denied her entrance due to her race, she taught herself French and moved to France, earning her license from Caudron Brother's School in just seven months. She specialized in stunt flying and performing aerial tricks. Reading stories of World War I pilots sparked her interest in aviation.
Toussaint Louverture (1743-1803)
Toussaint Louverture was the heroic leading figure in the Haitian Revolution of 1791-1804, the only successful slave revolt in recorded history, and he remains an international inspiration, seen by many to be one of the greatest anti-imperialist fighters who ever lived. Toussaint was a military genius who led an army composed overwhelmingly of former enslaved Africans and people of African descent to victory after victory under the banner ‘Liberty or Death’ over the professional armies of France, Spain, and Britain, before paying the ultimate price himself for refusing to compromise with imperial power at the expense of the maintenance of liberty for all.

Sermon Title: "Making Room For Your Dream”
Scripture: Genesis 37:1-5, 9-20
“Fireside Chat” Questions
- Have you developed a flight Plan for your dreams to take off? Why or Why not?
- How have you made room for your dreams? What has stood in your way?
- Given the history of our people and their dreaming, what impact has that had on your dream-making?
- What dangers exist when you share your dream with others?
- What role have dreams played in your life to get you to where you are today?
- In our text: How did Joseph make room for his dream?
- If you have stopped dreaming, what will it take to start dreaming again?
- How do you handle life's contradictions to your dreams?
- How do you respond to the statement: Dreams delayed are Not dreams denied?
- What can you do TODAY to make room for your dream and someone else's dream?
Listening to God’s Words and messages for you. Make a few personal notes as you listen. Revisit your notes during quiet time spent with the Lord over the coming week. Allow God to crystallize His truths in your life.
