SOMETHING ABOUT THE NAME JESUS

There is something about the name Jesus
Something about the name Jesus.
It is the sweetest name I know
Oh how I love the name Jesus, Oh how I love the name Jesus
It is the sweetest name I know.

Some people say I'm crazy but, I can't explain

the power that I feel when I call your name

said it's just like fire shut-up in my bones.
The holy ghost is moving and just won't leave me alone.

Said it's sweeter than honey from a honeycomb.

I can feel the holy ghost moving and it won't leave me alone

At the name of Jesus every knee has got to bow

so you don't have to wait till the fire comes you can call on him shout praise him do it right now.

COME ON IN THE ROOM

Chorus
Come on in the room,
come on in the room;
Jesus is my doctor
and He writes out all of my prescriptions,
He gives me all of my medicine in the room.

Chorus 2
There is joy, joy in the room,
joy in the room;
Jesus is my doctor
and He writes out all of my prescriptions,
He gives me all of my medicine in the room.

LET THE CHURCH SAY AMEN

Let the church say Amen,
Let the church say Amen
God has spoken, so let the church say Amen

Let the church, let 'em say Amen
If you believe the word, let the whole church say Amen
God has spoken, so let the church say Amen

Lift your hands, lift your hands
God has spoken, so let the church say amen,
Oh, thank you lord
God has spoken, let the church say Amen

Let the church say Amen
Let the church say Amen
God has spoken, let the church say Amen

Make this your response... AMEN
To whatever he says ...AMEN
From the healing of your body... AMEN
To the raising of the dead... AMEN
No matter how you feeling... AMEN
Or how your world is reeling... AMEN
Battle on through the night... AMEN
Cause you're going to win the fight... AMEN
Even in the valley... AMEN
Or standing at your red sea... AMEN
Continue to say... AMEN
Cause your help is on the way. AMEN

God has spoken, let the church say Amen

REPEAT CHORUS 2X

I need you to say it... AMEN
When your dream is about to die... AMEN
Knowing that God is not a man... AMEN
He just can't lie... AMEN
In spite spite of what... AMEN

the devil does... AMEN
Know you've got a word... AMEN
That is come from above... AMEN
Faith must be... AMEN

must be what you say... AMEN
So open your mouth... AMEN

and say Amen today... AMEN

God has spoken, let the church say Amen

You and You and you say... AMEN
From the deacons... AMEN

to the mothers... AMEN
All of the sisters... AMEN
God has spoken, let the church say Amen

ENDING
He'll change it, rearrange it!
God said it!  Believe it!
God has spoken, let the church say Amen

Pastor’s Aide Occasion Statement

September 25, 2022

The Pastor’s Aide Ministry at Greater Framingham Community Church is a ministry of service first to our God then to our Pastor, Rev. Dr. J. Anthony Lloyd. We have set aside this 4th Sunday in September to celebrate the Pastor’s Aide Ministry.  The ministry extends itself on occasions to service of the ministerial staff of Greater Framingham Community Church and to visiting clergy. As our Church celebrates this milestone “Year of Diamond/Golden Jubilee: Blessed to be a Blessing,” our ministry has chosen the theme, “Standing Tall in Tough Times” which is derived from Ephesians 6:10-18.

We serve in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Pastor’s Aide Ministry was started 29 years ago and today, we give thanks to God for this opportunity to recommit and rededicate ourselves to the service of God through our service to our Pastor, our church, and our community. The Pastor’s Aide work can be seen in biblical servants, Martha, Mary, Phoebe and Priscilla who served our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We understand our Pastor, Rev. Dr. J. Anthony Lloyd’s commitment to preach the Gospel in today’s world requires an ever-increasing excellence in ministry. Our Pastor, now in his 30th year faces days often long and demanding. The Pastor’s Aide Ministry is there to fill the gap, to provide encouragement, prayers, occasional meals, and emotional uplifting.

The Pastor’s Aide Ministry is committed to helping the Pastor in carrying on the work of Kingdom building. We support and care for him as a servant of the Lord. Our Pastor’s Aide Ministry Mission Statement is derived from 1 Corinthians 12:24. Our Mission says: “Our solemn responsibility is one of commitment to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our Pastor, and the Greater Framingham Community Church. We understand our unique positions as FAITHFUL SERVANTS of God, to uphold the church’s principles, practices, and policies, based upon the Bible as God’s authoritative and inspired word.” Our motto is: “Ministry in a More Excellent Way.”

On this 29th Pastor’s Aide Anniversary Sunday, we take this opportunity to thank you – Greater Framingham Community Church for your generosity during our fundraising activities and for your unwavering support of our mission as we rededicate ourselves to our Lord and Savior through service to Him and our Pastor.

Please keep us in your prayers as we strive to fulfill our calling in caring for the Pastorate.

Thank you and God bless you all.

Thank You from Your Pastor

I wanted to take this moment, after hopefully you have rested up, to thank you for the wonderful kick off of our 50\30 Celebration. The weekend was just great and God honoring in so many ways. The hard work put in behind the scenes to bring it all together is much appreciated by me, and I believe the church as a whole. I have many new memories created from this weekend that will "add to our History Gallery". God has been good to us as a church family and to me as your pastor for these past 50 years as a church and my 30 years of pastorate.

Thank you for your love, prayers, support.  I am believing in God to do wonderful things in the future as we seek to be faithful to advancing the Kingdom of God.

Once again thank you for your service, sacrifice and using your ministry gifts to enhance the work of the kingdom of God known as GFCC.
