WHEN I ROSE THIS MORNING
This morning when I rose
I didn't have no doubt
(3x)
I know the Lord will take care of me
I know the Lord will provide for me
and I know He will
Lead and guide me all the way
Yes, all the way
I woke up this morning, I saw a brand new day
I didn't have no doubt
(3x)
I felt like walking (I felt like walking)
. . . talking
. . . singing
. . . praising
. . . shouting
LORD I LIFT YOUR NAME ON HIGH
Lord I lift Your name on high
Lord I love to sing Your praises
I’m so glad You’re in my life
I’m so glad You came to save us
You came from heaven to earth to show the way
From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay
From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky
Lord I lift Your name on high
HIGH PRAISE
The Lord is high above the heavens
And His glory above the nations
(2x)
Give God the highest praise
Acknowledge Him always
And all the people say
Halle, Halle, Hallelujah
Hallelujah!
LIFT EV'RY VOICE AND SING
Lift ev’ry voice and sing,
till earth and heaven ring,
ring with the harmonies of liberty.
Let our rejoicing rise
high as the list’ning skies,
let it resound loud as the rolling sea.
Sing a song full of the faith that the dark past has taught us.
Sing a song full of the hope that the present has brought us.
Facing the rising sun
of our new day begun,
let us march on till victory is won.
Stony the road we trod,
bitter the chast’ning rod,
felt in the days when hope unborn had died;
yet with a steady beat,
have not our weary feet
come to the place for which our people sighed?
We have come over a way that with tears has been watered.
We have come, treading our path thro’ the blood of the slaughtered,
out from the gloomy past,
till now we stand at last
where the bright gleam of our bright star is cast.
God of our weary years,
God of our silent tears,
thou who hast brought us thus far on the way,
thou who hast by thy might
led us into the light,
keep us forever in the path, we pray.
Lest our feet stray from the places, our God, where we met thee;
lest our hearts, drunk with the wine of the world, we forget thee;
shadowed beneath thy hand,
may we forever stand,
true to our God, true to our native land.
WALK WITH ME
I want Jesus to walk with me.
I want Jesus to walk with me.
All along my pilgrim journey,
Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me.
In my trials, Lord, walk with me.
In my trials, Lord, walk with me.
When my heart is almost breaking,
Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me.
When I’m in trouble, Lord, walk with me.
When I’m in trouble, Lord, walk with me.
When my head is bowed in sorrow,
Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me.

HOLY COMMUNION
When we approach God's Holy Table, we do so with respect and reverence for who God is. It is not done with noise, commotion, moving around, or confusion. Please respect God by respecting His Holy Table.
CONFESSION OF FAITH
The church acknowledges as its head God, the Creator of all heaven and earth, Jesus Christ the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit, the Comforter. It acknowledges as brothers and sisters in Christ, all who share in this confession. It believes that all of those who are committed to building God's Kingdom and strive to keep His commandments are invited to partake of the Lord's Supper and that all such, with their families, are invited to the Ordinance of Baptism.
AFFIRMATION OF FAITH: “APOSTLES” CREED
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day, he arose from the dead; he ascended into heaven and sat on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty: from thence, he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Church (universal), the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sin, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen!
THE LORD’S SUPPER
I Corinthians 11: 23 – 34
Minister: For I have received of the Lord that I also delivered unto you. That the Lord Jesus, the same night in which he was betrayed, took bread:
People: And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said Take eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Minister: After the same manner, also he took the cup when he had supped, saying; this cup is the New Testament in my blood: this does ye, as often as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
People: For as often as ye eat this bread and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till he comes.
Minister: Wherefore, whosoever shall eat this bread and drink this cup of the Lord unworthily shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
People: But let a person examine themselves, and so let them eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
Minister: For they that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to themselves, not discerning the Lord’s body.
People: For this cause, many are weak in [Faith] and sick among you, and many sleep.
Minister: For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
People: But when we judge, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
Minister: Wherefore, my friends, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
All: And if a person hungers, let them eat at home; that they come not together to this table, disregarding its purpose, and unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come

Join Pastor Lloyd for Wednesday in the Word
Since Wednesday, May 17th, we have started the study of 1 Kings. The study picks up with David making Solomon king to succeed him on the throne. Solomon had mixed results, with his wealth and wisdom being known worldwide. He built palaces and cities, and a beautiful temple. -The house of the Lord did not match. But while on the throne, he also allowed idol worship to creep into the kingdom. And after his death, a civil war tore the nation in two. Successive kings were mainly terrible, and the prophet Elijah had dramatic confrontations with King Ahab, who could forget Jezebel on the scene. Join us Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm.
